What Could Be Wrong

Liquid damage and corrosion

The most common reason boards fail. Corrosion eats tracks and component legs, often weeks after the original spill.

Drop damage

Impact can crack solder joints or dislodge tiny components, producing no-power or no-signal faults.

A bad charger or power surge

A low-quality charger can take out the power-management or charging circuit.

What We Check

How We Handle It

A modern iPhone logic board carries dozens of specialised chips — power management, charging, audio, baseband, NAND storage. When one fails, generic repair shops often can’t help, because the fix requires microsoldering under a microscope, not module replacement. That’s exactly the work our bench is set up for.

Board-level repair matters most in one situation: your data. iPhones encrypt storage against the board itself, so photos on a dead iPhone can’t be read by moving the memory chip elsewhere — the original board must be brought back to life at least once. If your priority is recovering photos and files, tell us up front and we’ll structure the repair around getting the board booting for a backup.

Face ID repairs deserve honest framing: some Face ID failures (flood illuminator, dot projector connections) are repairable, while others are locked to Apple’s pairing and are not. We diagnose first and tell you plainly which case yours is.
