1. About these terms

These terms apply to repair services provided by iFix Guwahati (Ground Floor, Syed Market Complex, Shillong Road, near Opal Infomatics, Bhangagarh, Guwahati, Assam 781005). By handing over a device for diagnosis or repair, you accept these terms.

2. Diagnosis and quotes

  • Diagnosis is free of charge and without obligation.
  • Repair work begins only after you approve the quote (in person, by phone, or in writing via WhatsApp/email).
  • If additional faults are discovered during a repair, we contact you before doing any additional chargeable work.

3. Data

  • You are responsible for backing up your data before any repair wherever the device allows it.
  • Certain repairs — particularly board-level and liquid-damage work — carry an inherent risk of data loss, which we flag before starting.
  • Our handling of your data is described in the privacy policy.

4. Parts and warranty

  • We use quality replacement parts and explain part options and grades before repair.
  • Eligible repairs carry a warranty on the replaced part and workmanship, as described on the warranty page and stated on your receipt.
  • Devices opened for repair cannot be guaranteed to retain original water/dust resistance.

5. Liquid damage and pre-damaged devices

Liquid-damaged and previously repaired devices carry elevated risk: hidden corrosion or prior work can cause faults unrelated to our repair, during or after service. We assess such devices with care but cannot accept liability for failures caused by pre-existing damage.

6. Collection of devices

  • Please collect repaired devices promptly after being notified. Devices left uncollected for an extended period (90+ days) after repeated contact attempts may be treated as abandoned.
  • A repair receipt (or matching ID) is required at collection.

7. Liability

Our liability for any claim relating to a repair is limited to the amount paid for that repair. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Trademarks

Apple, iPhone, iPad, MacBook, iMac and related marks are trademarks of Apple Inc. iFix Guwahati is an independent business and is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Apple Inc.
