“How much for a battery?” is the second-most-common question at our counter (right after screens). Here’s the honest breakdown of what moves the number, so you can compare quotes properly.
The four things that set the price
1. Your iPhone model
Every generation uses a different battery, and newer packs — especially Pro and Pro Max sizes — cost more. An iPhone 11 battery and an iPhone 16 Pro Max battery are very different purchases.
2. Battery grade
Like screens, batteries come in quality tiers. Higher-grade cells hold their rated capacity longer and report health correctly in Settings; bargain cells often start at “100%” and collapse within months. Ask any shop — including us — what’s being fitted. We tell you before you decide.
3. What diagnosis finds
Fast drain isn’t always just the battery. A worn charging port, a misbehaving app, or (rarely) a board fault can masquerade as battery death. Our free diagnosis confirms the actual cause first — you shouldn’t pay for a battery your phone didn’t need.
4. Swollen batteries
A swelling pack that’s lifting the screen takes extra care to remove safely and sometimes damages the display seal or housing. If your screen is lifting, stop charging and come in — the earlier, the simpler.
What’s included at iFix Guwahati
Every battery job ends with a verification pass: correct charging behaviour, stable charger connection, and proper battery health reporting in Settings — plus a written warranty on the work. Most models are done same-day when stock is available, often while you wait.
