The first USB-C iPhones see a mix of port problems: lint compaction (as with Lightning), plus wear from non-standard cables. We clean, diagnose and replace the USB-C assembly when needed, and check charge negotiation with proper cables afterwards.
Early 15 Pro units were known for running warm (largely addressed in iOS updates). Persistent heat with fast battery drain, though, usually indicates a battery or board issue rather than software — we can tell the difference on the bench.
The 15 series introduced a removable back glass architecture that makes rear-panel repair cleaner and more affordable than iPhone 12–14 Pro generations. Good news if your back panel is shattered.
