How We Handle It

iPads split into two repair families. Standard iPads use a separate glass digitizer over the LCD — if only the glass cracked and the image is fine, we can replace just the glass, which keeps costs down. iPad Air, Mini and Pro models use laminated displays where glass and panel are one unit, so a crack means a full assembly replacement.

iPad screens are held by strong adhesive, and the aluminium body bends easily near corners after a drop. Fitting new glass to a bent frame guarantees a re-crack, so we check and straighten the frame first. On Touch ID models the original home button must be carefully transferred, since it’s paired to your iPad — we handle that as standard.
