How We Handle It

MacBook displays fail in more ways than phone screens: a drop cracks the panel, a worn flex cable causes the backlight to cut out at certain angles, a spilled drink kills the backlight circuit while the image survives. Each has a different — and differently priced — fix, which is why we diagnose before quoting rather than defaulting to the most expensive option.

If the image is intact but the screen stays dark, the fault is often the backlight circuit on the logic board rather than the panel itself. That’s a component-level repair, considerably cheaper than a new display assembly, and one many shops miss. Our board-level capability means you pay for the actual fault.

We handle both older Intel MacBooks and current Apple Silicon models. After any display work we test brightness range, colour uniformity, the camera (it lives in the display), Wi-Fi antennas (routed through the hinge on many models) and lid-angle stability.
