The Air’s ultra-thin lid flexes; screens crack from bag pressure alone, without a drop. M-series Liquid Retina panels are replaceable as complete assemblies, and we check hinge and lid alignment so the new panel isn’t stressed.
M-series Airs are fanless and silent, so owners often keep using them after a spill without realising liquid reached the board. Any spill on an Air deserves an inspection — corrosion on these tightly packed boards spreads fast.
Older Intel Airs (2013–2017 especially) come in mainly for batteries, keyboards and the occasional backlight fault. Parts availability for these generations remains good, and the repairs are very worthwhile on otherwise healthy machines.
