iOS 11.3 – The iPhone battery Health fix!
Apple released the latest 11.3 update all of us have been waiting for. This update comes after a long drawn battle against Apple over slowing down the iPhone batteries without users’ knowledge. This has also prompted Apple to lower the cost of replacing batteries on older iPhones from Rs.6000/- to Rs.2000/-. Apple drew a lot of flak over this issue and finally apologised over the entire issue back in December.
The new iOS 11.3 brings numerous new features including ARKit 1.5 and Battery Health. iPad charge management, new Animoji, Business Chat, Health Records and Music Video experience are a few to name.
Lets have a quick look at how the battery life info works
But Apple says that disabling the power management function on your iPhone could lead to “unexpected shutdowns.” It also says that turning off power management could mean it’ll take longer for apps to load, the speakers may be quieter, and the camera flash may even be disabled in some cases.
